HRDC Eligibility Requirements For Employers
Employers Registered with PSMB
Employers registered and / or incorporated in Malaysia who have registered with PSMB under the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) or Registrar of Society (ROS) – with either one of the following status:
- Berhad (Bhd.) / Sendirian Berhad (Sdn. Bhd.)
- Limited Liability Partnership (LLP)
- Sole Proprietor / Enterprise
- Association
- Government / Semi Government Institution Training Programmes Beneficial to Business Operations
Training must be in the area of direct benefit to their business operations. Financial assistance is, therefore, not given to individuals who enrol and finance their own training programmes, whether partially or fully, and subsequently request their employers for sponsorship. Neither is financial assistance given to employers who bear the cost of training after the successful completion of training by their employees.

Below are the steps to register with HRDC claimable training programme:

- Itinerary (airfare) – if any
- Receipt & Invoice (transportation) – if any
How to Claim For HRD Corp Training Course
Claims need to be submitted by training providers after the approval of grants and training completion. Claims for HRD Corp Claimable Courses must be submitted by Training Providers Before the employer submission of claims.
Training Providers must ensure that the trainee attendance is accurate, as employer cannot amend it once approved.
Steps to Apply
- Login to Training Provider’s eTRiS account
- Click Applications
- Click Claim
- Select Submit Claim With Grants – TP
- Click Claim at the Action Column (Only approved grants with completed training/events will be displayed).
- Provide the contact details of the Officer to be Contacted or select Others if the name is not in the record system, and then click Next.
- Verify the information (pre-populated from Grant application) then click Next.
- Fill in Trainer Information (pre-populated from grant application) then click Next.
- Key in Trainee Attendance (updated by Training Provider) then click Next.
- Update trainee attendance (75%) by clicking Edit and select Yes and click Update, after updating, click Save then click Save.
